Laurel Haven Conservation Education Center
The Laurel Haven Conservation Education Center is a 50-acre educational forest located in the Bald Eagle Valley, a few miles north of State College, Pennsylvania. The center, which is part of the Laurel Haven Tree Farm, is dedicated to wise natural resources conservation through sustainable forestry practices. Now a part of Penn State's School of Forest Resources, Laurel Haven was the creation of two former Penn State College of Education faculty members. They had visions to create a facility where everyone, from toddlers to senior citizens, could learn about conservation the right way: outside and hands on. You can download a PROGRAM BROCHURE at this link to learn more about Laurel Haven.
